Get answers to common questions about Brow Wax.
Most brow wax services take about 15–25 minutes, including consultation and shaping. Extra services (tinting, trimming) add time. Arrive a few minutes early so your brow artist can discuss shape preferences and skin sensitivities.
Some sensitivity is normal, especially the first time, but discomfort is brief. We use quick technique, quality wax, and calming compresses. Avoid caffeine and exfoliation before your appointment to minimize sensitivity; aftercare reduces irritation.
Plan maintenance every 3–6 weeks depending on hair growth and desired crispness. Clients with faster regrowth may return sooner. Regular appointments maintain shape and reduce over-waxing, allowing a more precise, consistent brow look over time.
Yes with caution. Tell your technician about sensitivities, medications, or active acne. We perform a brief skin check and may patch-test or recommend alternative techniques like tweezing or threading to avoid irritation or spreading acne lesions.
Arrive with clean skin free of makeup and oils. Avoid retinoids, chemical peels, or heavy exfoliation for at least 48–72 hours. If on topical medications, inform us. Lightly trim long hairs only if necessary.
Apply soothing gel or aloe and avoid sun exposure, saunas, heavy sweating, and exfoliation for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and skip makeup immediately after waxing. If redness persists beyond 48 hours, contact us for advice.
