Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about LED Light.

LED Light therapy is non-invasive and safe for most skin types and ages. We screen for photosensitizing medications, recent procedures, or medical conditions. Pregnant clients and those on certain medications should consult their physician before treatment.

A typical LED Light session lasts about thirty to forty-five minutes, including consultation, cleansing, and the light therapy itself. Exact time may vary if you add masks, extractions, or combination treatments.

Most clients notice subtle improvements after the first few sessions, with visible changes in texture, redness, and tone after four to eight treatments. We'll create a personalized plan and recommend maintenance visits to preserve results.

Side effects are minimal, such as mild warmth, temporary redness, or slight tingling that resolve quickly. There is no significant downtime. Clients on photosensitizing drugs or with certain medical conditions should avoid treatment until cleared by a physician.

LED Light pairs well with many facials and skincare services, enhancing healing and results. It is commonly added after extractions or gentle peels, but we will assess timing and compatibility with more aggressive treatments.

Topical acne medications are often compatible, but some ingredients increase light sensitivity. Tell us about retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, or prescription treatments. If you use photosensitizing medications, we may delay or modify therapy and ask for medical clearance.
